Fraserway Prekast provides precast traffic control products for Tsawwassen Commons

There is a lot of buzz about the opening of the new McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Mall.  The opening weekend saw over 160,000 people visit this large retail space. This massive retail destination boasts over 240,000 SF of shopping.  But just a bit further south is a colossal project in the works called Tsawwassen Commons. It is a massive 550,000 SF retail development that will service the affluent areas of Tsawwassen, Ladner, South Delta, North Delta and South Richmond. Site preparation is well under way. New CSA Requirements for Precast Concrete

Fraserway Prekast is pleased to announce that we recently received our Enhanced CSA Precast Concrete Certification as required by The Canadian Standards Association (CSA). “Under the CSA requirements, more stringent rules were announced with a compliance deadline of September 15, 2015, reports Mike Savage, Quality Control Manager. “We completed our compliance audit well ahead of schedule and were awarded our updated certification.” Fraserway precast concrete quality certified The new regulations announced in 2014 update includes: Additional categories regarding the classifications of precast concrete; Document control; Quality control assessments and evaluations; CSA authenticity markings; Appointments of key personnel and professional engineers. Mike Savage has been a member of the Fraserway Prekast team since January 2010. When Mike first arrived at our precast concrete operation he began working on developing a precast concrete product offering that would be tailored to the specific commercial, civil and waste management market segments that our  products are constructed for in British Columbia. Over the last four years Mike has continually developed his depth of knowledge and took on responsibility for precast sales, product design, and business development.
