Fraserway Prekast is once again partnering with some of the most innovative companies to complete The Township of Langley’s Municipal Fibre Optic Network Extension. This project utilizes Lite Access Technologies proprietary micro-trench and air blown fibre optic technologies.
The Township of Langley is proactively building a cost-effect and future-proof fibre connectivity infrastructure solution. This project is a 9.65 km network that connects the Township’s civic facilities to its operations centre, operations building and the RCMP station.
Communication vaults connect vital communications centres
Fraserway Prekast is supplying DSG Communications – an approved installer of Lite Access – with 1.2m communication vaults with galvanized steel doors stamped with Fibre Optic and 5686 service boxes. The vaults and service boxes will create the hubs needed to install over 9 km of fibre optic cable. The Lite Access Technologies air blown fibre is a system where cable can be blown any distance without the need for splicing. The end result is a communications system that can deliver large bandwidth applications that are more affordable.
